Calligraphy is breathing.

I hold the brush, dip it in ink, and face the paper. In that moment, the entire world condenses into the tip of the brush. Inhale, pause, exhale. That rhythm of breath becomes the line itself. That's why no character can ever be written the same way twice. The person I am right now creates a character that exists nowhere else.

What drew me to calligraphy was this beauty of the unrepeatable moment. In a digital age where everything can be copied, I believe there is immeasurable value in something created solely with brush, ink, and paper — something that can never be reproduced.

I write calligraphy while connecting with people worldwide through TikTok LIVE. Even through a screen, I know that the sound of brush meeting paper, the moment ink bleeds into the fibers, the atmosphere of that instant — all of it reaches the viewer. Tradition and modernity, Japan and the world, analog and digital — running my brush along these boundaries is my calligraphy.

To captivate the world through calligraphy. That is my dream, and the origin of my name: 夢香 — the fragrance of dreams.
